Hertha BSC head coach Stefan Leitl will serve a one-match suspension when his side face Hannover 96 on Saturday.

According to BuLi News, the 47-year-old will watch from the stands, with assistant Andre Mijatovic taking the touchline for the first time.

The ban stems from the most recent 2. Bundesliga match against SV Elversberg, when Leitl loudly protested a refereeing decision and collected his fourth yellow card of the season.

For team officials, four cautions trigger a one-match league suspension, while players are only banned after a fifth booking.

The fixture follows Hertha’s Pokal disappointment in midweek. They are sixth on 34 points, five off the promotion places.
