Jamie McGrath then rattled the bar (24.), before Owen Elding headed off target (25.) from a Nicky Cadden cross.

After the restart, McGrath struck the right post (55.) from Cadden's delivery. Robbie Muirhead came on due to an injury (64.), as Livingston reshaped.

Prior kept Livingston level, saving Felix Passlack's header (80.) and smothering Dane Scarlett's effort (82.). Scarlett later headed wide (88.).

A late VAR review found no penalty for Hibs (90.). Warren O'Hora headed wide in the fifth minute of second half stoppage time.

Hibs dominated possession at 75% and produced 22 attempts, hitting the woodwork twice and forcing 12 corners. Livingston registered six attempts and made 46 clearances.

Hibs remain fifth. Livingston stay 12th. Next, Hibs visit Motherwell. Livingston travel to Kilmarnock.
