Tomorrow lunchtime sees Celtic take on Hibs in the capital in what’s sure to be a tough test as we aim to get back to the top of the standings by next weekend…

Yes, that’s now actually possible as Hearts dropped points today with a 0-0 draw away at Motherwell.

Sunday also happens to be the last game in charge for our magnificent interim manager Martin O’Neill, with Wilfried Nancy set to be taking over from Monday.

However Easter Road is a notoriously tricky venue for Celtic, especially these last few years, and tomorrow will prove to be no different as David Gray’s men aim to get back to winning ways after a midweek defeat at Fir Park.

That said if the Celtic team performs in the same fashion as we did against Feyenoord in Rotterdam on Thursday night, then we will win the game, there is absolutely no question about that. On the other hand if we give a similar performance to that of last Saturday evening in Paisley, then it will be a tough afternoon, that’s for sure.

Celtic will have been severely rejuvenated after defeating Feyenoord and dramatically improving ou chances in the Europa League, and with a new manager incoming the players will want to impress, as the man in question will no doubt be watching, just like on Thursday night.

It’s also a chance to give Martin O’Neill the warm and deserved farewell he deserves. He stepped in and steadied the ship when needed, and has done it in the successful and professional manner that we all knew would.

Win lose or draw, Martin deserves a fantastic farewell, but it just seems fitting that he goes out with a blaze of glory with Celtic putting on a show and bringing the points back to Paradise.
