Sporting Club Bastia’s 0-1 home loss to Boulogne-sur-Mer on Friday sparked angry scenes as supporters reached the doorway to the players’ dressing room. According to L'Équipe, the bottom club endured fresh turmoil that could bring further consequences.
Minutes after full-time, around 50 home fans entered the official car park, a security guard is said to have opened a gate by mistake. A flare was thrown towards the administrative and dressing-room door as numbers swelled to almost 100.
A witness reported scuffles between those intent on damage and others venting anger. Some reached the Bastia dressing-room entrance without trying to go in, and exchanges were heated, including with assistant Lilian Laslandes. The club closed areas including the press room, which was struck by a flare and an agricultural bomb.
Intelligence officers observed events, yet police did not intervene, reportedly kept away at the club’s request. By Saturday morning one person had been arrested, said to be a Boulogne supporter breaching a stadium ban. No Bastia official has commented.
Troublemakers were removed around 22:45, easing tensions inside. Players Dominique Guidi, Anthony Roncaglia and Johny Placide tried to speak with fans. Guidi was heckled by about 30 people, and a projectile hit Jérémy Sebas’s car.
Order returned by midnight, and the visiting delegation, confined with pizzas delivered, later departed. The Boulogne camp praised the swift protection and said they felt safe. The LFP disciplinary commission is expected on Wednesday to examine the case.
