An insight into the financial reward set to come the way of La Liga giants Barcelona for booking their spot in the semi-finals of the Champions League has been provided.

Barcelona are of course fresh off keeping their hopes of European glory this season alive and well.

After Hansi Flick’s troops made the trip to Germany for the 2nd leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie with Borussia Dortmund, they were ultimately condemned to the wrong side of a 3-1 result.

This mattered little, though, after a 4-0 first-leg romp, giving rise to a 5-3 aggregate result.

So, sporting merit aside, what kind of financial reward are Barca set for, after keeping their pursuit of the Champions League trophy alive?

As per a report from Mundo Deportivo, the Blaugrana’s coffers will receive a fresh €15 million injection for reaching the semi-finals.

This makes for a total €116,563 million earned on the continent in 2024/25.
