Arsenal take on Olympiacos in their second game of the Champions League League Phase at the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners beat Athletic Club at San Mames in their opening fixture, with goals from Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard enough to claim three points.

Mikel Arteta’s side will be buoyed by their dramatic comeback win over Newcastle last weekend, where Mikel Merino and Gabriel struck late on to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat.

They face an Olympaicos side that drew 0-0 with Pafos last time out, as well as sitting top of the Greek Super League, unbeaten in their first five games.

The visitors are managed by Jose Luis Mendilibar, and their squad boasts the likes of former Monaco winger Gelson Martins, ex-Wolves forward Daniel Podence, and Mehdi Taremi, previously of FC Porto.

Arsenal will be without a number of key names for the visit of the Greeks, with Piero Hincapie, the new arrival from Bayer Leverkusen, again set to miss out.

He will be joined on the sidelines by Noni Madueke and Kai Havertz, who continue their recoveries from knee injuries.
