What’s been said?

Maresca on the switch from group stage football to knockout football: “It’s a knockout game. Anything can happen. But it’s not just for us, it’s for any club. The players are aware that in this moment, the team that is going to make more mistakes is probably the team that the day after is back to home.”

Benfica boss Bruno Lage had some big praise for Chelsea winger Pedro Neto ahead of the game: “The player I really know is Pedro Neto. He’s one of the best wingers in the world. He’s so dangerous because he can go either way on the ball.”
