Dortmund kick off their Club World Cup campaign against the 2023 runners-up
Jobe Bellingham could make his Borussia Dortmund debut as they begin their Club World Cup campaign against Fluminense this evening.
Bellingham, the younger brother of Real Madrid and England superstar Jude, completed his move to the Bundesliga outfit from Sunderland last week and was named in the squad that travelled Stateside.
Having already caught the eye in training ahead of the Group F showdown, there’s every chance the 19-year-old make his first appearance for BVB - whether that be as a starter or off the bench.
Jamie Gittens is also in line to feature for Dortmund after seeing a potential move to Chelsea break down as the two clubs could not reach an agreement over a fee.
As for the Brazilian outfit, who were runners-up to Manchester City in the 2023 edition of the Club World Cup, they are expected to be lead by the experienced figure of Thiago Silva - still going strong at the age of 40.
The former Chelsea, AC Milan and and Paris Saint-Germain defender is likely to start at the MetLife Stadium, whilst Ganso is a name that will alert many watchers of European football.
