Arsenal travel to face Man Utd on Sunday looking to back up their 7-1 demolition of PSV Eindhoven on Tuesday night.

It was the Gunners who came out on top when the two sides met earlier in the season in the Premier League, winning 2-0 thanks to goals from Jurrien Timber and William Saliba.

Man Utd played on Thursday, drawing 1-1 with Real Sociedad in the Europa League. The game prior saw them knocked out of the FA Cup by Fulham on penalties following a 1-1 draw. They won their last Premier League game, beating Ipswich 3-2, but have only won one of their last four in the league.

What’s been said?

Mikel Arteta on potentially coming up against former Gunners youngster Chido Obi-Martin: “I wasn’t too involved in that decision (to let him leave). Obviously, when a player decides that the best pathway for him is to leave, there’s not much you can do.

“Very unfortunate because we want to keep our players from the academy and to be very successful with the first team. But in that case, we weren’t able to do that.”

Ruben Amorim on comparisons to when Arteta took over at Arsenal: “I don’t feel that. I will not have the time that Arteta had. It’s a different club.

“We just need to survive, both the players on Sunday and me. The way Arteta dealt with that is an inspiration for everybody. I will not have the time like Arteta had.”
