Tottenham are in with a chance to win another European title this evening as they face Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Super Cup.
It is a tricky start to life for new head coach Thomas Frank, who is made to face the champions of Europe in his first competitive fixture as Spurs boss.
He will have his work cut out for him as he faces one of the game’s top tacticians in Luis Enrique, who led PSG through a dominant Champions League campaign last season, culminating in a 5-0 final win over Inter Milan.
They could be low on confidence, though, after being beaten by Chelsea in the Club World Cup final back in July, their most recent fixture. So too could Tottenham, who shipped four to Bayern Munich in their final summer friendly outing.
PSG will be without two key players in Joao Neves and Gianluigi Donnarumma for the tie. The former is suspended after being sent off last time out, while Donnarumma is set to leave the club this summer after Lucas Chevalier was brought in as a new first-choice keeper.
Spurs will hope Dominic Solanke is fit to return to play after he picked up a knock in a pre-season friendly earlier this summer.
TV channel: In the UK, the game will be televised live on TNT Sports 1, with coverage starting from 7pm BST ahead of an 8pm kick-off.
Live stream: TNT Sports subscribers can also catch the contest live online via the Discovery+ app and website.
