Scotland can secure World Cup qualification for the first time since 1998
Steve Clarke’s side hopes of automatic qualification for next summer’s tournament appeared to have taken a massive hit as they were beaten 3-2 by Greece on Saturday.
However, news soon filtered through that Denmark had been held at home by Belarus in a surprise 2-2 draw, with Gustav Isaksen saving the Danes from an embarrassing defeat.
Those two dropped points could prove vital in the battle for supremacy in Group C as victory for Scotland at Hampden Park will secure World Cup qualification for the first time since 1998.
However, Denmark will hold on to top spot as long as they avoid a loss. A repeat of the goalless draw when the two nations met in the reverse fixture 74 days ago would break Scotland hearts.
The consolation for whoever claims a runners-up spot is that their World Cup dream will not be over. Instead, they will enter the UEFA play-offs which will offer one final chance to qualify for football’s biggest tournament.
An exciting final day is in store and below is everything you need to know about where to watch the game...
TV channel: The game will be broadcast live in the UK for free on the BBC. Coverage starts at 7.15pm GMT on BBC Scotland and 7.30pm on BBC Two ahead of an 7.45pm kick-off.
Live stream: Fans can also tune into the contest via the BBC Sport app, website and BBC iPlayer.
