FLW's Hull City fan pundit has provided his view of which of Middlesbrough or Southampton would be the preferred team in the play-off final at Wembley
Hull City are set to face Southampton in the play-off final, but the "Spygate" incident threatens to delay the final or potentially see Middlesbrough take their place.
Hull City's 0-0 at home to Millwall was followed up with a 2-0 win at The Den to secure their place at Wembley in the richest game in football, with Southampton joining them a day later after an extra-time winner for Shea Charles against Middlesbrough.
Nigel Reo-Coker believes Hull will beat Southampton at Wembley but that's if they are even able to face one another. There has been talk that the date of the play-off final could change due to the ongoing investigation into Southampton.
Hull's allocation has been revealed for Wembley, though. They are guaranteed to be there with their place secured on Monday, but fans watching the other semi-final on Tuesday likely had a preference over the team they wanted to make it to Wembley.

FLW's Hull City fan pundit Cameron Gibson has had his say, given that Southampton could be removed from the Championship play-off final amid the scandal. We asked him if, as a Hull fan, would he rather play Middlesbrough in the final?
He said: "At Wembley, in the play-off final, it should be between the two teams that have done the best.
"The Southampton players have beaten Middlesbrough. 11 against 11, or whatever you want to say, they've beat them. Obviously, Southampton have had an advantage if they've been spying on them.
"So, as a Hull fan, we're a Yorkshire team. Middlesbrough are in Yorkshire and it could be a derby at Wembley. But on sporting merit, you want to see the 11 men who won the semi-final against the 11 who won their semi-final.
"So, it's a hard one. As a football fan, you want to see it earned on sporting merit. But because of this spanner that's been thrown into the works, it's very hard to say anything else than Middlesbrough deserve to be in the final.
"Based off what the rumours are, if Southampton have been cheating — even in the regular season — that's given them a false position in the league. They did go 20 games unbeaten at the end."

The EFL have been called out for their part in all of this, with Cameron adding: "But as a Hull fan, if I'm being 100% honest, I really don't care who we play in the final. We could play Manchester United or we could play Mansfield Town — I really don't care.
"My enjoyment is watching the boys in black and amber who fight every week and who have got us in this position. That is who I am going to watch. I'm not going to watch whoever we are playing against.
"I think our boys would beat anyone in this league because we have proven we can do it. Whether that is the teams at the top of the league like Millwall and Southampton, and we've also beaten the teams around us in the play-offs.
"Whether that be Wrexham or Derby [County] or other teams like that. It's just a bit of drama that's frustrating as a fan — and I hope things get sorted. It's been a nightmare.
"And I think the EFL need to learn a lesson from this and take a long and hard look at themselves for how they've got in this mess."
