Speaking at a press conference attended by Get French Football News Olympique de Marseille midfielder Adrien Rabiot (30) has admitted that he is reaching one of the best parts of his career as one of the senior players in the OM dressing room. “When you reach the age of 30 you are really deep in the subject of football,” said Rabiot before Marseille travel to AS Monaco this weekend. “Physically I feel like I am in my prime, and psychologically we take things a bit easier with experience. In the last two seasons I feel like I am in the best moment in my career.” Rabiot is clearly a leader in the OM dressing room, and the France international admitted his desire to transmit his experience to Marseille’s younger players. “I always try to transmit what I learned Juventus from Chiellini, Cristiano Ronaldo, Giunluigi Buffon – great players.” “They helped me with mentality especially in training – to at 100%. And now it’s up to me to pass on that knowledge and experience to the young players at Marseille. Every bit of advice I can give is important.” Les Olympiens travel down the French Riviera to face Monaco tomorrow afternoon in a clash which could be decisive in the battle for Champions League football by the end of the season. OM currently sit second in the table, two points ahead of Monaco on 50 points – with Strasbourg right on their coat tails one point behind.
