Arsenal are looking to bring in a quality alternative to Martin Odegaard. The Norwegian International has not been at his best this season, and Arsenal feel that Maza could be the “ideal piece of the puzzle” for them. The 20-year-old Algerian has five goals and six assists this season.

The playmaker could cost around €65 million at the end of the season, and it remains to be seen whether Arsenal is prepared to pay the asking price for him. He’s a young player with a lot of potential, and even though he might not be worth that kind of money now, he could justify the investment in future.

The opportunity to join Arsenal could be exciting for the young midfielder as well. It would be a step up in his career, and he would be playing for one of the biggest clubs in the world if he joined them. Arsenal have a rich history of grooming young players into established stars, and they could help the player fulfil his potential.

It remains to be seen whether they come forward with an official to sign the player. Manchester City, Tottenham and Newcastle have the resources to get the deal done as well.

Tottenham have struggled in the final third this season and need more quality there. Maza will help open up defences and create opportunities for his teammates. He can operate as both the central attacking midfielder and the central midfielder. His versatility would be a bonus for the north London club.

Maza needs to join a club where he will play regularly next season. It remains to be seen whether Arsenal or Tottenham can provide him with the necessary assurances.
