Inter, Juventus, Atalanta and Napoli’s chances of Champions League top eight | OneFootball

One round remains in the Champions League league phase, and Inter, Juventus, Atalanta and Napoli head into the final 90 minutes with their fates unsettled.

After seven matches, no Italian club sits in the top eight that guarantees last-16 passage. Places nine to 24 enter the play-offs, 25th and below are eliminated, according to Football Italia.

Atalanta are 13th on 13 points after a 3-2 home defeat to Athletic Club on Wednesday. Their top eight chance is 13.42%, with 86.58% for the play-offs. They visit Union Saint-Gilloise next.

Inter are 14th with 12 points following a 3-1 home loss to leaders Arsenal on Tuesday. Their top eight chance is 6.31%, with 93.69% for the play-offs. They travel to Borussia Dortmund.

Juventus sit 15th, also on 12 points but with a slightly inferior goal difference, after a 2-0 home win over Benfica on Wednesday. Their top eight chance is 6.75%, with 93.25% for the play-offs. They face Monaco away.

Napoli are 25th on eight points after a 1-1 draw with Copenhagen on Tuesday. A top eight finish is mathematically impossible, while their play-off probability stands at 50.87%. They host Chelsea.
