In a recent media appearance, Rodrigo De Paul made headlines. The Argentine took a swipe at European football.
After winning the Major League Soccer Cup with Inter Miami in 2025, Rodrigo De Paul didn't hold back when it came to European football. The Argentine, who of course never lifted the Champions League during his time in Europe, offered a rather surprising comparison.
"I think it's harder to win MLS than the Champions League," declared the Argentine midfielder in comments relayed by Marca México. After being loaned from Atletico Madrid between July and December 2025, De Paul made a permanent move to the Florida franchise through December 2029 in a deal reportedly worth 15 million euros.
