It’s been a dream start to life at San Siro for Ange-Yoan Bonny.

Indeed, the 22-year-old has tallied four goals in Serie A this season, keeping up with Inter talisman Lautaro Martinez.

Curiously, both players were on the scoresheet last night as Inter saw off Lazio to draw level on points with Roma at the top of the table.

Despite being without Marcus Thuram for over a month, Inter have never lost their scoring potency, largely thanks to Bonny.

Unfazed by the pressure that comes with this shirt, the Frenchman has been unstoppable in the early stages of the season.

With four league goals to his name, Bonny is Inter’s second-best scorer in Serie A behind Hakan Calhanoglu.

However, the former Parma center-forward refuses to get carried away by the early success.

“Today we are first,” Bonny said after the game. “But it counts for little because the road is still long. We look ahead, but tonight, it’s nice.

“The goals come, thank God. I don’t know if the contribution has changed much.

“However, I try to be at the level of my teammates. Let’s hope to continue like this.”

Then he confirmed that Inter have provided him with a perfect environment to grow both as a player and a person.

“There are many parameters,” Bonny added. “From the work with the staff in front of the goal, then the assist from Dimarco.

“When he gives balls like that, it’s easier to score. I have scored a goal and I’m happy.”

Meanwhile, Bonny is gearing up for his maiden appearance in the famous Derby della Madonnina.

“A childhood dream, everyone will have watched the Milan derby,” he admitted. “We wait with patience, but we are pumped.”
