Inter Milan, Man City, PSG, Chelsea, and Bayern Munich are all keeping tabs on the contract situation of Mario Gila at Lazio.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews. They report that the Spaniard will either sign a new deal, or leave this summer.
Defender Mario Gila is out of contract with Lazio at the end of June 2027.
The 24-year-old has just come to the end of his third season with the Biancocelesti. He joined the club from Real Madrid in the summer of 2022.
Gila has emerged as a key player at the back for Lazio. He was their outstanding defender across the season just gone.
However, this has inevitably raised a significant amount of transfer interest in the Spaniard.

In Serie A, the Corriere reports, the likes of Inter Milan, AC Milan, and Juventus are all tracking Mario Gila.
Then, there is also interest in the Spaniard from some of Europe’s biggest clubs outside of Italy.
The Corriere report that Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea, and Bayern Munich are all targeting Gila.
Therefore, Lazio want to act quickly to clarify Gila’s future.
The capital club’s priority would be to lock down the 24-year-old’s future with a new deal. They do not want to see him head into the last couple years of his current one.
Therefore, Lazio are offering Gila a contract extension.
However, if the Spaniard does not sign an extension, then Lazio’s priority would be to sell Gila while they can still get a large fee for him.
