Having crashed out of the UEFA Champions League in midweek, they will be desperate to respond with a win and further strengthen their already healthy 10-point advantage at the top of the Serie A table.
Inter head into this game on the back of a 2-1 defeat to Bodo/Glimt in the second leg of the playoff tie, a result that saw them eliminated from the Champions League after losing both matches.
However, their domestic form remains excellent, with seven straight victories in Serie A. They have also recorded six consecutive clean sheets in their last six league games away from home and lead the division for shutouts this season with 14.
Captain Lautaro Martínez remains out with a calf problem until next month, so Cristian Chivu is set to choose two strikers from Francesco Pio Esposito, Marcus Thuram and Ange-Yoan Bonny to lead the line for Inter.
In defence, Alessandro Bastoni is suspended, with Carlos Augusto likely to come into the back three as his replacement.
Inter do have some positives on the fitness front: Denzel Dumfries is back after a long injury absence, while midfield duo Nicolo Barella and Hakan Calhanoglu are available again after serving Serie A bans last weekend.
On the left flank, dead-ball expert Federico Dimarco will look to keep his fine season going, having already contributed five goals and 14 assists in league action.
Possible Inter Milan starting XI: Sommer; Bisseck, Akanji, Augusto; Henrique, Barella, Calhanoglu, Zielinski, Dimarco; Bonny, Esposito
The match will kick off at 7:45pm BST on Saturday, 28th February.
