Inter are preparing a fresh bid for Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman, reports from Italy claim, with the Nerazzurri raising their offer up to €45 million, inclusive of bonuses.
According to what has been reported by the Corriere dello Sport, via Inter-News.it, Cristian Chivu’s side are ready to raise their offer by €5 million, after they launched a reported opening bid of €40 million earlier this week.

This is still below the €50 million asking price La Dea set for the Nigerian but the two sides are drawing closer to an agreement, despite the Bergamo club ready to stand firm on their demands.
The reports from Corriere suggest that the Nerazzurri will present Atalanta with the improved offer early next week and that it will be one of permanent acquisition – rather than the loan with obligation-to-buy that has been reported by some outlets.

Inter reportedly have the player’s will on their side, with Lookman eager to complete a move to join the Champions League finalists. The club could, therefore, use this as leverage in negotiations with Atalanta.
