Inter could move for a Serie A replacement if Alessandro Bastoni leaves for Barcelona this summer.
Gazzetta suggests that a bid of around €80m, or at least €70m with significant bonuses, would be required to persuade Inter to sell, and identifies Lazio’s Mario Gila as the leading option to replace him.
Bastoni, an Italy international, remains linked with Barcelona ahead of the summer window.
Gila, 25, has 113 appearances for Lazio, including 83 in Serie A. He is also on Milan’s radar due to his connection with former Lazio director Igli Tare, now sporting director at the Rossoneri.
The report adds that negotiations with Lazio would be complicated despite Gila entering the final year of his contract this summer, which runs to 2027. Other options reportedly include Sassuolo’s Tariq Muharemovic, Udinese’s Oumar Solet and Club Brugge’s Joel Ordonez, with valuations around €20m-€30m.
