Simone Inzaghi has dismissed speculation linking him with a move away from Inter Milan, ahead of his side’s Champions League final.
Inzaghi has guided the Italian side to their second Champions League final in three years, and will face Paris-St Germain in Munich on Saturday.
But the Inter boss has been linked with a move to Saudi side Al Hilal of late, though stated his commitment to his current club ahead of the final.
“I’ve said many times that I’m happy at this club, so I have everything I need to do well and achieve great things,” he told Sky Sports.
Inter were beaten by Manchester City in the final back in 2023 and Inzaghi says his side can take the lessons from that game into their clash with PSG.
“I asked for concentration, without obsession,” said Inzaghi. “We need to be free in our minds, we know how these games are prepared: we have champions of Europe, South America, and the world.
“Tomorrow could come down to a few moments, and we need to be good at steering them in our favour. We must go out there not with obsession, but with the desire to win this game, knowing that we are facing a strong and well-prepared team.
“We will play with the weapons we have at our disposal, given the path we have taken: it has been extremely difficult and full of pitfalls, but we have come this far and we do not want to stop now. The players know everything and will give their all on the pitch.
“It’s a wonderful sensation, as playing a final is the dream of any player or coach. We have the possibility to be here again after two years, we’ll give it our all.
“The final two years ago can help us above all in the preparation, because we mustn’t treat this as an obsession. We finally had the full squad at our disposal and got to work well in training. When it comes to the match, any single moment can be decisive.”
