Ipswich Town fan expects Premier League bids for Omari Hutchinson, calls £35m clause a "bargain" amid West Ham transfer links.

Ipswich Town playmaker Omari Hutchinson is once again attracting Premier League attention, with West Ham United reportedly eyeing a move should they cash in on Mohammed Kudus.
The England youth international was one of the Tractor Boys' better performers last season as they fought to stay in the top flight, but they would inevitably fall foul of the drop along with Southampton and Leicester City.
Only one of Kieran McKenna's squad from last season has secured a Premier League transfer so far, with Liam Delap moving to Chelsea, but could Hutchinson be the next to exit the Suffolk outfit?
Speaking to Football League World, FLW's Ipswich fan punditAdam Wilkin believes Hutchinson's standout displays at the Under-21's European Championships for England have only increased the likelihood of a summer exit, but admits that if the reported £35 million release clause is triggered, Town can't do much to stop it.
“I think given Hutchinson’s Under-21 Euros performances, I am expecting there to be more interest in him in the coming weeks,” Adam told FLW.
“He has performed very well out there, and scoring in the final will no doubt attract some of the suitors that are watching him closely anyway.”
That includes West Ham, who, according to Football Insider, have been monitoring the 21-year-old ahead of a possible move- but Ipswich may not have full control over the situation:
“I think Ipswich are in a position with the release clause, where we don’t really have too much say in the matter if a club were to come in for him,” Adam added.
“I know there are some rumours of around £35 million if it does exist. I think that would be a bargain for any club that comes in for him in terms of his potential ability.”
Adam would love to see the former Chelsea youngster remain at Portman Road for another season, especially if Town push for promotion again, as he could be a dominant Championship winger.
“I don’t want to see him leave. I want to see him have another season in the Championship,” Wilkin added.
“When he joined us on loan, he got bedded in slowly. Whereas, if he were to stay this season, you would expect him to be up and running from the start, and I think he could get some excellent numbers.
“Without a release clause, we could demand slightly more than £35 million, but I think if someone were to trigger that clause, it would be a good deal for both parties.”
Hutchinson, who scored three goals and provided two assists in the Premier League last season before the Tractor Boys' relegation, has been described as a good stylistic fit for West Ham.
“West Ham themselves are the club that would fit him quite well with how they use their wingers, and their high-dribbling, high-progression type players. His skillset would suit that,” Adam said of the Hammers being keen.
With Premier League experience now under his belt, and at just 21 years of age, a move to a club like West Ham could provide the ideal next step in Hutchinson’s career, especially if a fellow left-footed attacker like Kudus is on the move - it would leave a vacancy for the east Londoners to fill, and Hutchinson would be a stylistic match.
But for Ipswich, the focus now turns to holding firm, unless, of course, the reported clause gets activated - in that case, McKenna and co really wouldn't be able to do much about it.
