The Tractor Girls announced the news via a post on their official club website this afternoon.
The 20-year-old joins Ipswich Town off the back of helping Birmingham City finish as runners-up in Barclays WSL2 last term. The Blues have competed strongly again this season. Baker has spent 18 months with Birmingham City in which she has regularly featured in the matchday squad.
The attacker grew up in the Leicester City academy system before breaking into the East Midlands’ side’s senior squad.
On the international stage, Baker has represented England at various youth levels.
After joining Ipswich Town on loan, Baker said “I’m so excited to be here and can’t wait to get started with the team.
“I’ve had a look around and the facilities here are top class. The girls look really driven to succeed and hopefully I can help them do that.
“I would describe myself as a direct, quick and creative player and I really want to bring those qualities to the team across the second half of the season.”
Baker could make her Ipswich Town debut when they travel to Newcastle United on Sunday.
