Arsenal's quadruple may not be the only thing to have disintegrated in recent weeks.

The Premier League's champions-elect saw their quest to fight on four fronts this season halved before Tuesday's Champions League quarter-final with Sporting CP.

Things got off to a slightly shaky start at the Estádio José Alvalade as the hosts hit the crossbar and peppered David Raya's goal with further three efforts early on.

Remarkably, the Liga Portugal outfit are the first opponent in all competitions to test the Gunners' rearguard so effectively in the opening ten minutes of any game.

Sporting became the first team in any competition this season to have four shots in the first 10 minutes of a game vs Arsenal. But it remains goalless at the break in Lisbon.
