England will look to build on a perfect start to Women’s World Cup qualifying as they take on Iceland in Reykjavik.
The Lionesses beat Spain 1-0 at Wembley in midweek to move outright top of Group C after three games, with Lauren Hemp’s goal giving England the first advantage in qualifying.
And now Sarina Wiegman’s side begin the second round of fixtures as they face Iceland again just over a month after beating the minnows 2-0 in Nottingham in March.
Every win is key with just one automatic qualifying place available and an away fixture against Spain to come, so expect Wiegman to name a strong team as the Lionesses look to consolidate their early advantage in Group C.
The Lionesses will take on Iceland at 5.30pm BST on Saturday, 18 April at Laugardalsvöllur in Reykjavik, Iceland.
It will be shown live on ITV 4 and ITV X, with coverage starting from 4.45pm.
England captain Leah Williamson missed the win over Spain and will likely face a late fitness test to determine if she can feature in Reykjavik. Ella Toone, Grace Clinton, Michelle Agyemang and Aggie Beever-Jones are still unavailable due to injury, though there do not seem to be any new injury concerns from the game in midweek.
England XI: Hampton; Bronze, Wubben-Moy, Morgan, Greenwood; Walsh, Stanway, Kendall; Hemp, Russo, James
