Jack Baldwin has joined Hornchurch after leaving Colchester United. The 32-year-old former Sunderland centre-back moves ahead of the new season.
The club said they fought off interest from EFL and National League sides to land the defender, adding he brings more than 280 EFL appearances.
Baldwin has also played for Hartlepool United, Peterborough United, Bristol Rovers, Ross County and Northampton Town.
He joined Sunderland from Peterborough in summer 2018 on a two-year deal for an undisclosed fee, following the Black Cats’ relegation to League One.
Baldwin made 42 appearances and scored three goals for Sunderland, his first in a 2-1 win over Bradford City in October 2018. He left Wearside in summer 2020.
