Italiano suffered an adductor injury in training. Leckie sustained a hamstring problem during the 0-2 defeat to the United States.

Leckie, 35, had convinced his head coach to select him despite an injury-hit season with Melbourne City. He played only an hour against the Americans.

Italiano, a starter in the first two matches, will miss the next round.
