Andrée Jeglertz says he'll decide on his team for our WSL clash with London City Lionesses tomorrow, but he's optimistic Sam Coffey will be involved in the matchday squad.
The USA international joined the Club earlier this month from Portland Thorns, and after almost two weeks of adjusting to life in Manchester, the 27-year-old midfielder could make her bow in blue on Sunday 25 January.
Kick-off at the CopperJax Community Stadium is slated for 11:55 (UK), with the game available to watch live on Sky Sports for fans in the United Kingdom.
City will be looking to return to winning ways following our Subway League Cup semi-final exit on Wednesday evening and extend our sequence of WSL victories to 12 in the process.
And Jeglertz is confident Coffey will maintain City’s standards if called upon.
“We will select the team tomorrow but she has been training fully today,” said Jeglertz when asked if Coffey will travel to London this weekend.
“She will be part of training tomorrow so hopefully she will be able to travel tomorrow.”

The boss was also asked about the rest of his squad’s availability for another vital away match-up as we continue to navigate a busy fixture period.
“We are in a good spot. We had a good session today and the players are focused on Sunday,” began Jeglertz.
“That’s [squad depth] going to be crucial and it is to make sure that we are always able to put a very strong team out and having players on the bench that can affect the game.
“That’s been one of our strengths. That’s an important part, especially when you play a few more games in spring.
“It makes the training session better, and every day we work on being a little better, and we need competition in training sessions .
“That’s how players and the team get better.”
