Jesus ‘very confident’ Arsenal will win Premier League title | OneFootball

Gabriel Jesus has said he is very confident that Arsenal will win the Premier League title this season.

After three straight seasons as runners-up, Arsenal are nine points clear in the title race with seven games to go.

The club’s nearest challengers, Manchester City, have a game in hand on the Gunners, while the two teams will meet at the Etihad in a huge showdown later this month.

Jesus, who won four Premier League titles at Manchester City before his transfer to Arsenal, is confident the North Londoners will get over the line.

During an interview with Rio Ferdinand Presents, Jesus was asked about his belief that Arsenal can end their 22-year title drought this season.

“Very confident. Very confident,” Jesus replied.

“We are in a good place and we have an amazing squad. Not only those who play a lot of games but the squad.

“Like me, obviously the last few games I haven’t been playing a lot but, still, I know myself. I know Mikel knows this. I can sub on and I can decide a game. Or I can play one game and decide a game.

“It’s the same with Leo (Trossard), Bukayo (Saka), the same with Noni (Madueke), Martinelli, Vik (Gyokeres), Kai (Havertz), all the attackers. It’s good. If you see our attacking players, it’s amazing.

“So I believe. I believe 100% that this season we are doing something.”
