Joao Pedro has admitted his friend Filip Jorgensen is having a difficult time following his injury mistake against PSG in the Champions League.

Filip Jorgensen’s time at Chelsea has not really gone to plan. He came in to compete with Robert Sanchez, and for two seasons in a row has had a chance to replace him. But in both cases Jorgensen has ended up looking even more shaky, and has ended up losing his place again.
This time around was even more painful – his huge mistake against PSG at 2-2 seemed to destroy Chelsea’s chances in the tie, and killed the team’s confidence at a crucial moment in the season.
He does have friends around him though, including striker Joao Pedro.
“He’s going through a tough time right now because he’s injured. So, we’re trying to help him. He’s a really good guy, and both on and off the field, he’s very professional. He tries to help everyone,” Joao Pedro said of his friend.
“We’re very close because our girlfriends also try to hang out together. Off the field, we’re always joking around with each other. So, we’re very close.”
Chelsea are looking at defenders as they look to add Premier League experience, and a couple have already been suggested.
Goalkeeper is another priority position to strengthen this summer, and it looks like Roma star Mile Svilar is a possible signing.
