Aston Villa look set to reach the Europa League quarter finals after taking a 2-0 aggregate lead over Lille in Thursday's last-16 second leg encounter.
The Ligue 1 side held firm until early in the second half when John McGinn set Villa Park rocking by opening the scoring with a cool finish from a well-worked move.
McGinn's strike was memorable not only because it marked a triumphant return from a knee injury earlier this year but also for drawing him level with true Villa royalty.
His ninth goal for Unai Emery's side in European competitions equalled the haul that 1982 European Cup-winning hero Peter Withe recorded in his time with the club.
Could the Villa captain follow in his footsteps by delivering continental glory?
