Every year, Shelbourne FC’s legendary kitman Johnny Watson hosts a charity cycle at Liffey Valley Shopping Centre for a cause close to his heart.

This Sunday, Johnny is once again taking on the challenge to raise vital funds for Willow Carroll, a remarkable young girl living with very complex medical needs. Willow is one of our own, a Shelbourne FC fan who requires 24-hour care, specialist equipment, ongoing therapies and constant medical support. Like many families caring for children with complex needs, Willow and her family face significant daily challenges.

All at Shelbourne FC are immensely proud of Johnny, whose heart, kindness and care for everyone he meets are known to all. This year, Johnny is joined by his right hand man Dave and a dedicated team of cyclists, who will be cycling throughout the day to:

The cyclethon is taking place today at Liffey Valley Shopping Centre Sunday December 21st from 8am until 8pm. A huge thank you to Liffey Valley for hosting, and to the Shelbourne fans, players, staff and volunteer who will be on hand to show their support.
