Manchester City’s charity, City in the Community (CITC), is inviting young people across Greater Manchester to join its Youth Voice Panel.

The panel meets monthly at the City Football Academy and is a safe space for young people to share their views on daily life, as well as provide feedback on proposed new CITC initiatives.

The insight helps CITC better understand how it can support them through its youth-led programmes and initiatives.

The Youth Voice Panel offers a unique opportunity to drive influence and real change, ensuring that the voices of Greater Manchester’s youth are listened to.

Daisey, a participant currently on the panel, said:  “I wanted to join the CITC Youth Voice Panel as it seemed a good opportunity to make a difference for my generation, to get our voices heard about our needs in the community.

“My favourite part is the new friends I have made. Everyone has the same goals and passion that I have, I believe I have made friends for life.

“It means so much to me to know that CITC value young people’s voices, knowing that we can make a real difference really makes me feel proud to be part of something inspirational in our community.”

Applications are open* to passionate and proactive individuals aged 11-18 - up to 25 for those with additional needs.
