Juventus have begun moves to try to sign Bernardo Silva, who will leave Manchester City at the end of the season. According to Glorioso 1904, an initial contact has already taken place, brokered by Jorge Mendes, but any advance hinges on Champions League qualification and coach Luciano Spalletti’s approval.

The Portugal international is weighing his next step and intends to decide by the end of April.

Options include remaining at the highest level in Europe, notably at Benfica, or switching to leagues such as MLS or Saudi Arabia.

Silva is open to hearing a proposal from Juventus and considering a move to Turin. Salary is a major hurdle, as he is unwilling to take a significant pay cut from his current wage in England.

For Juventus, any deal would require an exceptional financial effort, likely breaching the squad’s salary ceiling. The club would only move more concretely if all sporting and financial conditions are in place.

This season Silva, valued at €27 million, has played 42 times for City, 30 in the Premier League, eight in the Champions League, three in the League Cup and one in the FA Cup. Across 3,037 minutes he has three goals and five assists.
