José Mourinho rages at Benfica display against Braga, calls it a disaster

José Mourinho delivered a blistering assessment after Benfica’s Allianz Cup defeat to Braga, saying his players did not deserve to win and labelling the technical level a disaster.

Mourinho felt the first half was far below expectations, despite an early spell on the ball and a chance created.

He repeatedly underlined that the performance was too weak and highlighted what he viewed as incredible individual errors.

He said he wished the players would sleep as poorly as he would, effectively not at all, and confirmed the squad would stay overnight at Seixal after returning.

The decision also drew comment from Rui Costa.
