Jude Bellingham singles two Real Madrid stars out for praise after derby victory | OneFootball

Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham was quick to make clear his appreciation for the efforts of two fellow members of Los Blancos’ squad, in the aftermath of Sunday’s Madrid Derby.

Real are of course fresh off keeping alive their La Liga title hopes yesterday evening.

After welcoming city rivals Atlético to the Bernabéu for a league clash, Álvaro Arbeloa’s troops battled their way to a hard-fought 3-2 triumph.

A number of Blancos stars played a key role in the result, but none more than Vinícius Jr, and Federico Valverde.

The former was responsible for a match-winning brace, while midfielder Valverde kept alive a scintillating spell of recent form with his latest goal, too.

Drawn on his side’s three-point haul after marking his return from injury in the derby, Jude Bellingham was therefore quick to lavish praise on his two in-form teammates:

“Fede and Vini always find a way to elevate the team in difficult moments. They are always there to help us with injuries. Fede’s an example of excellent attitude and Vini inspires us on how to bounce back.”
