It must be remembered that he had previously agreed terms with French and European Paris Saint-Germain back in June.

Now, he has given the green light to the personal terms offered by Los Blancos, with a five-year contract until 2031 being agreed upon by the two parties.

Real Madrid prepare improved offer

With the player’s formal consent secured, Real Madrid are now intensively preparing a renewed transfer proposal to submit to RB Leipzig.

The German club previously rejected the Spanish capital giants’ opening bid, which was valued at a fixed €90 million fee alongside an additional €10 million structured in performance-related add-ons.

Faced with a firm refusal from the Bundesliga outfit, Real Madrid executives are finalising an improved financial structure designed to closer align with Leipzig’s demanding internal valuation of the teenage talent.

Reports in Spain suggested that the deal could be closed for around €115-120 million, including add-ons.

New manager Jose Mourinho views the winger as an ideal long-term asset to add tactical versatility and depth across the forward line, especially as the club navigates complex contractual situations with existing first-team players like Vinicius Jr..

Despite Real Madrid currently holding the advantage with the player, PSG are refusing to abandon their long-term pursuit.

The Ligue 1 champions re-established active contact with Diomande’s representatives today to reaffirm their intent to match any competitive proposal.

PSG’s hierarchy is determined to push the deal until the final days of the summer window, leveraging their immense financial capabilities to try and alter the winger’s final destination.

However, for now, it appears that Real Madrid remain firmly in the driving seat as they prepare to open decisive, formal club-to-club fee negotiations to close out the operation.
