Villa only sold Duran to Saudi Pro League club Al-Nassr on a big money deal in the winter transfer window, with the striker then not directly replaced as Marcus Rashford and Marco Asensio arrived on loan.

Duran was considered a highly rated star at Villa Park and losing him was a blow to Aston Villa, but he could be on the move just six months after heading to Saudi Arabia.

It has been suggested he is unsettled at Al-Nassr and could be quitting the Saudi Pro League soon.

A possible loan move has been mooted and now Jose Mourinho has been given the chance to take him to Turkey.

According to Turkish broadcaster A Spor (via Fotomac), Duran ‘has been offered’ to Fenerbahce as a possible signing.

The Istanbul giants are now starting to look at how much it would cost to take Duran to Turkey this summer.

Mourinho’s Fenerbahce came up short in the battle for the Turkish Super Lig title this season and there is big pressure to deliver in the upcoming campaign.

Champions and rivals Galatasaray have already made an impact by agreeing a deal for Leroy Sane.

Landing Duran could allow Fenerbahce to strike back with their own big name arrival.

Fenerbahce will be in the Champions League qualifiers in the summer.

Aston Villa signed the 21-year-old from MLS side Chicago Fire in 2023.

West Ham United chased him last summer, but Aston Villa were firm on their demands and Duran eventually stayed put at Villa Park.

He scored for Villa in the Champions League against Bayern Munich.
