Manchester United are facing an enormous summer with INEOS keen to give Ruben Amorim the reinforcements he desires to take the club back to the top.

However, it will be easier said than done after the club missed out on Champions League qualification, and the co-owners will have to depend on outgoings to seal further incomings.

Matheus Cunha’s arrival has already been confirmed, while Bryan Mbeumo seems to be the most likely next arrival. The head coach also wants a striker, a midfielder, a wingback, a defender, and a goalkeeper.

And for all these signings to take place in the same window, INEOS will need to sell well and the players likely to depart first are the ones who spent last season out on loan.

Antony unlikely to return to Betis on loan

Marcus Rashford and Antony are prime examples with the Brazilian enjoying a fantastic temporary stint with Real Betis. The right winger netted nine times while also registering five assists in only 26 games.

The Spanish side were keen to agree another loan deal for the Brazil international, but their offer was sharply turned down by the Red Devils.

Antony has already bid farewell to the Spanish side in an emotional post and the 20-time English league champions are eager to take advantage of the ex-Ajax star’s renaissance and sell him to the highest bidder.

There has been reported interest from the likes of Atletico Madrid and surprisingly, Arsenal, but as per UOL Esporte, Juventus are in pole position for the 25-year-old.

Juventus will approach United for Antony soon

The Juve board have been long-term admirers of the United star and with a return to Betis now out of the question, the Bianconeri are eager to press ahead in their pursuit and are likely to approach the Red Devils soon.

“Having left Betis in Spain, striker Antony is unlikely to return to Manchester United and has entered Juventus’ radar. The Old Lady has placed the 25-year-old Brazilian as one of its targets in the transfer market.

“Antony has been well-regarded by the Juve board since the beginning of the year, who are now considering advancing their interest at the opening of the transfer window.”

While a definite amount is not mentioned in the report, it is likely INEOS will demand €40 million to ensure his sale counts as profit in their books.
