According to a report from L’Équipe, Juventus have reached back out to Jean-Clair Todibo (25) regarding a move later this month.
Todibo joined West Ham United on loan at the start of the season, joining from OGC Nice in a deal that included the option to make the move permanent at the end of the campaign for €40m. The France international is currently injured but has played 17 matches for the Premier League side since making the move.
However, Juventus were also in the race to sign Todibo in the summer before missing out. Their interest has not waned, L’Équipe understands and, in search of another centre-back, they have reached back out to the centre-back, currently on loan away from Le Gym.
Juventus’ interest has not gone any further as of now, with the Italian club aware that any deal would be difficult. West Ham are not open to releasing the Frenchman, whilst an agreement would also have to be found with Nice, given that the option to make Todibo’s move to West Ham has not yet been made permanent.
