Juventus have opened initial talks for Tiago Gabriel, the 2004-born Lecce defender who has rapidly become one of the most sought-after young prospects in Serie A.

According to Tuttosport, the Portuguese centre-back has now been placed firmly among the Bianconeri’s priority targets for the upcoming transfer windows.

However, Juve are far from alone. Several Premier League clubs have been tracking Tiago Gabriel for months, with Brentford reportedly ready to table an offer in the region of €20 million: a figure that could complicate the plans of Italian sides hoping to keep him in Serie A.

Juventus consider Adzic loan to sweeten Tiago Gabriel deal

To stay competitive in the race, Juventus are considering adding a technical counterpart to their proposal. One of the most concrete options, per the report, is the inclusion of Vasilije Adzic on loan.

The young Juve midfielder has already been monitored by Lecce in the past, and his arrival could make the operation more appealing to the Salentini.

For now, the ball is with Lecce, but Juventus appear determined to put themselves in a strong position, especially with Premier League pressure increasing ahead of the winter market.
