Juventus have reportedly contacted the relevant authorities to request an investigation into the choreography from the Fiorentina supporters before kick-off in their Serie A match over the weekend, which involved the unfurling of a message that read: ‘Juve merda’.
Juventus were beaten 3-0 away at the Franchi in Serie A on Sunday, the second consecutive hammering in the league following a 4-0 loss against Atalanta the weekend prior. Both results have put Thiago Motta’s future with the Old Lady at a major risk.
Fiorentina, led by Raffaele Palladino who is also fighting for his job, made life uncomfortable for the Bianconeri during their trip to Tuscany over the weekend, providing a lesson on the pitch as well as a few insulting messages to the club and its players throughout the game.

Former Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic was also the subject of taunting chants, asking ‘Where’s Vlahovic’ after his run of starts on the bench. Nico Gonzalez, who moved to Juve from Fiorentina in the summer, was not spared any insults either.

According to reports from Tuttosport (via Calciomercato.com), Juventus have been in contact with the FIGC and the Lega Serie A to request an investigation and clarification over the pre-match message that read: ‘Juve merda’.
Calciomercato.com claim that Fiorentina could face further consequences as a result, but previous examples of similar incidents show that the Viola could escape unpunished.
