Kaio César joins Corinthians, shares chat with Terrão striker

On the afternoon of this Tuesday (3rd), forward Kaio César was officially introduced as a new addition to Corinthians in a press conference held at the Dr. Joaquim Grava Training Center. After posing alongside Marcelo Paz, the football executive, and president Osmar Stabile, the player spoke about his first days at Timão.

“I am very happy. Not even in my best dreams did I imagine arriving at Corinthians and already being a champion in a game. I had a good performance, I was able to help my teammates. It was very happy for me. The group welcomed me very well, it had been a while since I felt like this, at home. It's an environment where everyone likes each other, everyone helps each other. I am very happy to have arrived and won a title. It's a good way to start the year positively”, the player began.

The young forward stated that he had been interested in playing for Timão since 2025, when the club first sought to sign him. At that time, with Fabinho Soldado as the Football Executive, the Alvinegro Paulista opened talks with Al-Hilal from Saudi Arabia, but did not advance due to a FIFA transfer ban.

“I already had an interest in coming to Corinthians, there was already a conversation. I talked to my family and everyone, since mid-year (2025) it was the place I wanted to come. I always knew it would be a big responsibility. Everyone expects good football, it's a big responsibility. But I believe that despite being young, I am prepared, physically and mentally”, commented Kaio César.

During his time at Al-Hilal, the new number 37 of Corinthians had as a teammate the forward Malcom, who was revealed by the club from Parque São Jorge. Kaio César revealed that the player helped him upon his arrival at the Saudi club and said he was also important in his decision to join Timão.

“Malcom is a guy who helped me a lot when I arrived there, especially because he is Brazilian. After those conversations that came out in the middle of last year, he told me it was a very good club, close-knit, with a wonderful and huge fan base. A fan base that, when not in a good phase, will demand, but supports a lot. He supported me a lot to be here, to come to Corinthians. He helped me a lot. I am talking to him a lot. He helped me a lot”, he revealed.

Kaio César was revealed in the youth categories of Coritiba, where he stood out in the main team, scoring three goals in 36 games. In 2023/2024, he was loaned to Vitória de Guimarães, Portugal, where he scored four goals and provided eight assists in 47 games.

Subsequently, the 21-year-old athlete was sold to Al-Hilal, Saudi Arabia, scoring four goals and providing six assists in 34 matches. His contract in the Arab world ends in 2028. He joins Corinthians on a loan deal until the end of 2026.
