Real Madrid showed their class by cruising to a 5-0 victory over Kairat Almaty in the Champions League.
The Los Blancos were led by a sensational hat-trick from Kylian Mbappe, proving why they are in a different league compared to their Kazakh opponents.
While Kairat fought hard, coach Rafael Urazbakhtin admitted after the match that his team “deserved at least one goal” but struggled to break through Madrid’s defence.
“We tried. We deserved at least one goal, but we couldn’t score,” he said during a press conference at Almaty Central Stadium.
Urazbakhtin was candid about the gap between the two sides, stating that Real Madrid and Kairat “are in different categories” and that “the experience is priceless.”
Despite the heavy defeat, he appreciated his players’ effort and bravery in the opening stages of the match.
Urazbakhtin highlighted that his team tried to play with courage, telling his players not to just clear the ball but to attack when possible.

“We had quite a few chances,” he noted. However, he admitted that Madrid’s speed and precision on the counterattack proved decisive.
“You can’t make mistakes against these teams. They’re unforgiving,” he said, referring to the first two goals that came from defensive errors.
The Kairat coach also praised Mbappe, saying the French forward “is a player on another level,” underlining why Real Madrid are among the favourites in this season’s Champions League.
While it was a tough night for Kairat, Urazbakhtin saw value in the experience. Facing a team of Madrid’s calibre, he said, is “priceless” for the growth of his players.
Real Madrid’s performance sent a clear message that they are not just competing in Europe, they are dominating.
With the team firing on all cylinders, fans can expect them to continue their strong run in the Champions League, with stars like Mbappe leading the charge.
