Kaizer Chiefs academy graduate Jeremiah Thanyane has signed for Hungry Lions from fourth division outfit Viasport FC.
The talented left-back-cum-winger left Amakhosi's development side last year and found himself playing in the SAFA Johannesburg Hollywoodbets Regional League.
Thanyane was named Players' Player of the Season during the Chiefs academy awards ceremony held in 2022 December.
Now, the 21-year-old utility player is set for a taste of professional football in the second-tier, with the promotion aspirants.
Hungry Lions are currently in third place with 18 points picked up from the first 11 league outings of the 2025/26 campaign.
The Northern Cape-based outfit trails log leaders Casric Stars with four points and second-placed Milford with three points, while third-placed Kruger United edge them with a single point.
Meanwhile, the Chiefs product will be itching to make his debut as Ditau dia rora return to action with a clash against Gomora United after the international break.
