Karol Mets is closing in on a move to VfL Bochum, with a contract anticipated in the coming days.
According to BuLi News, the 33-year-old Estonian defender is set to join the 2. Bundesliga club on a free transfer after his St. Pauli deal expired.

Earlier this week it was reported that new head coach Uwe Rösler had targeted Mets for his defence, and the agreement is said to be virtually done.
Mets spent the past four years at St. Pauli, establishing himself as a reliable presence at centre-back.
Following St. Pauli’s relegation to the 2. Bundesliga last season, the move would keep him in Germany and bring experience to the Ruhr club as they look to push for promotion back to the Bundesliga.
