Kauê tops Fiel ratings as Corinthians edge Barra 1-0 in Copa do Brasil, Vitinho rated lowest | OneFootball

Corinthians beat Barra 1-0 in the Copa do Brasil third phase on Tuesday night at Ressacada, with goalkeeper Kauê earning the top fan rating and forward Vitinho the lowest.

According to Meu Timao, Fiel voters on the Notas da Torcida panel gave Kauê an average of seven point nine, ahead of Jesse Lingard on seven point four and Gustavo Henrique on six point four.

Vitinho received three point four. He entered in the first half after Kayke’s injury. Matheus Pereira was at four point zero, while Raniele and Dieguinho each scored four point three.

Coach Fernando Diniz also drew a positive return at six point three, the only other figure above six besides the leading trio.

The result hands Corinthians a narrow edge for the return leg on 14 May at Neo Química Arena, and they can progress with a draw.

They are back in action on Sunday at 16:00, facing Vasco da Gama in the 13th round of the Campeonato Brasileiro in a match initially set for Neo Química Arena.
