According to Meu Timao, Corinthians had goalkeeper Kauê’s new contract registered in CBF’s BID. The deal runs until 4 July 2031 and is now the longest in the squad.

The renewal makes Kauê the only player contracted through 2031. Defender João Pedro had previously held the longest term, to 30 November 2030, and he almost left earlier this year. Yuri Alberto is also to 2030.

Hugo Souza, Felipe Longo, Pedro Milans, André and Breno Bidon have deals until 31 December 2029.

Memphis Depay’s contract expires at the end of this month. André Carrillo, André Ramalho, Jesse Lingard, Zakaria Labyad, Vitinho, Fabrizio Angileri, Hugo Farias, Allan, Matheus Pereira and Kaio César are signed until December this year.

The term complies with the Lei Geral do Esporte, Law No. 14.597/2023, which limits professional contracts to five years. For players under 18 the cap is three years, which does not apply to Kauê.

Kauê joined at Under-15. After strong 2019 displays he moved up to Under-17 the following season. In 2021 he advanced to Under-20, and in 2022 under Fernando Lázaro he trained with the first team, totalling 94 games across Under-17 and Under-20.

He debuted in December last year in a 1-1 draw with Juventude at Neo Química Arena on the final day of the Campeonato Brasileiro. In 2026 he became Hugo Souza’s deputy, ahead of Felipe Longo and Matheus Donelli, whose loan to Shabab Al Ahli was extended.

So far he has five first-team appearances and has conceded five goals.
