Kean has not been called up for Sunday’s Serie A trip to Bologna due to an ankle issue, Gianluca Di Marzio reports.
The 25-year-old Italy international will be assessed daily and is not expected to be out for long, with hope he can rejoin training midway through next week.

In his absence, Roberto Piccoli could start up front in Serie A. Edin Dzeko is also among Paolo Vanoli’s striking options.
Fiorentina need three points and favourable results elsewhere to climb out of the relegation zone this weekend.
They opened the calendar year by beating Cremonese 1-0, then drew with Lazio and Milan over the last 10 days.
Sunday’s match will go ahead as scheduled following the death of club President Rocco Commisso on Saturday morning.
